Meet Paul Tyan, MD
After earning his medical degree (MD), Dr. Tyan completed his residency training at the George Washington University. Following residency, he pursued an American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL)–accredited fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the University of North Carolina, ranked #3 among Ob/Gyn training programs in the U.S. by Doximity. Dr. Tyan also completed a Master of Science (MS) in clinical research from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health, which was ranked the #1 public health school in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report at the time of his enrollment.
Dr. Tyan’s rigorous and specialized training provides the foundation for the high level of care he delivers to his patients. His clinical interests include the management of chronic pelvic pain and minimally invasive complex pelvic surgery. He is fluent in English, French, Arabic, and medical Spanish.
