Pamela Barstow, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Pamela Barstow DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner.  She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University and her family nurse practitioner certification in 2015.  In 2022, she obtained a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, also from Walden University.  She has a diverse clinical background, including labor and delivery, high-risk inpatient obstetrics, adult primary care, pediatrics, lactation counseling, and gynecology.  Her professional history also includes teaching graduate students as an adjunct instructor for the Graduate School of Nursing at Purdue Global. While she enjoys caring for patients across the lifespan, she has a special affinity for patients experiencing perimenopause and menopause. She takes pride in getting to know her patients and strives to provide individualized personal care.  As a military spouse, she is also sensitive to the needs of military families.  Although she was born and raised in Colorado, she is proud to call Virginia her home.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fabulous grandkids and attending Washington Nationals’ games with her husband of over 25 years.  Additionally, she is an avid supporter of pet adoption and is a proud pet mom.
